abstract ={Collaborative learning tools play important roles in communications and knowledge building, among learners in a virtual learning environment. They demand appropriate grouping algorithms as well as facilitating learners’ participations mechanisms. This paper has utilized some information retrieval techniquesto investigate the relevance of discussion posts to their containing forums, and extract learners’ most frequent topics. Trying to explore students online interactions, researchers have applied social network analysis, which has led to a new representation of social networking. They have proposed a new grouping algorithm based on the provided representation of social relationships. The mentioned approaches have been evaluated in some academic courses in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and ELearning Center, University of Tehran. The results have revealed some considerable improvements in comparison to the traditional approaches. Research outcomes may help tutors to create and guide groups of learners more effectively.},

abstract ={Increment of complexity and costs of information technology systems have made many problems about infrastructure and manpower for organizations which have been decreased by the use of outsourcing. All organizations try to increase the success of outsourcing projects by using different ways. One of the important reasons for failure of these projects especially in IT area- because of its major role in acquisition of competitive advantage- is selecting inappropriate contractor. In order to existence of different and contradictive criteria, this selection is complex. The purpose of this research is to determine important criteria and specify the weights of each criterion and finally design a fuzzy expert system for selecting the best contractor in IT outsourcing. The method of knowledge acquisition from experts-which are managers and experts of IT- is a questionnaire. Also in order to evaluate the validity of system, it was used in an IT company. The results show the favorable performance of contractor selection expert system.},

title = {The Evaluation of E-learning by Benchmarking Approach Iran Higher Education as a Case Study}, 
abstract ={The purpose of this study was the evaluation of e-learning in Iran higher education by using benchmarking approach. The population was all of students in four universities which presented e-learning. By multistage clustered sampling method, 702 students were selected. The research instrument was a researcher made questionnaire included e-learning (organization and management affair, technology, educational aspects, interface design, support services, evaluation and ethical and legal considerations). After calculating validity and reliability, the questionnaires were distributed among sample students and data was analyzed by ANOVA and Scheffe post hoc. Results showed: the university D with higher mean in all of seven dimensions had the best position among three other universities. Furthermore, the university B in five dimensions and the university C in two dimensions was the best. While benchmarking can be tested processes and models from other universities and implementing techniques and approaches used them more.},

title = {Assessing the e-service quality of Payame Noor University}, 
abstract ={In this study, in order to assess the e-service quality of Payame Noor University based on E-SERVQUAL model, the service superiority gap score was measured. The research methodology was quantitative, in terms of main strategy applied, in terms of research objective descriptive–survey, in terms of analytical technique and library and field study, in terms of implementation strategy. The research population consisted of about 20000 undergraduate and postgraduate sophomores and above studying in Payame Noor University of Ardebil during spring semester of academic year 2010-2011. A multi-stage cluster sampling method was used for the study. Among the universities, the Payame Noor University of Ardebil, another university and a unit were selected randomly. According to Krjci-Morgan table, assuming error α = 0.05 and using cluster method of sampling, the overall sample size was determined 500 and 476 questionnaires were finally analyzable. For data collection, the e-service quality questionnaire (E-SERVQUAL with alpha reliability coefficient .97 for the perceptional level and .95 in for the expectation level) was used. Results from Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (z = .704, p = .703 &#62; 0.05) showed that the data distribution is normal. Data collected was analyzed by using single-sample t-test. Results showed that e-service quality was significantly low in all aspects and components of services. In other words, there was a service superiority gap in electronic service in Payam Noor University and students were unsatisfied with the quality of electronic services.},

abstract ={Nowadays, organizational portals hold a key role in disseminating organizational information at different layers. Within their scope, educational portals are particularly significant, due to their ability in upgrading users’ knowledge and skill in realizing entrepreneurship business. Considering the geographical distributed-ness as well as job variation in entrepreneurship and the parameters which are influential in the process of designing these portals, developing a mechanism that can offer a high capability to portals in upgrading entrepreneurship skill, is of high priority. This necessitates the very features which are essential to designing efficiently these sorts of portals. In this paper, an approach is suggested according to which the features expected for designing an educational portal are represented in terms of an ontology, and it is subsequently explained how and in what way these features can on the one hand help realize entrepreneurship business and on the other hand help entrepreneurship training/education come true in a reasonable way. At the end, the capability of the proposed approach will be discussed in terms of two practical scenarios being used frequently.},

abstract ={As computer networks become the backbones of science and economy, enormous quantities documents become available. So, for extracting useful information from textual data, text mining techniques have been used. Text Mining has become an important research area that discoveries unknown information, facts or new hypotheses by automatically extracting information from different written documents. Text mining aims at disclosing the concealed information by means of methods which on the one hand are able to cope with the large number of words and structures in natural language and on the other hand allow handling vagueness, uncertainty and fuzziness. Text mining, referred to as text data mining, roughly equivalent to text analytics, refers to the process of deriving high-quality information from text that high-quality information is typically derived through the patterns and processes. Moreover, text mining, also known as text data mining or knowledge discovery from textual databases, refers to the process of extracting patterns or knowledge from text documents. In this research, a survey of text mining techniques and applications in e-learning has been presented. During these studies, relevant researches in the field of e-learning were classified. After classification of researches, related problems and solutions were extracted. In this paper, first, definition of text mining is presented. Then, the process of text mining and its applications in e-learning domain are described. Furthermore, text mining techniques are introduced, and each of these methods in the field of e-learning is considered. Finally, a model for the information extraction by text mining techniques in e-learning domain is proposed.},

abstract ={Today the world is moving toward a virtual space. Whereas the business, health, education, and many of the other activities would devote time and money in the past, by appearing the virtual space most of them have suitable function today. Educating is an inseparable part of human which is entered to electronic world as individuals and organizations are gradually moving towards this type of educating. In this research, the relationship between emotional intelligence and trends of e-learning in organizations has been studied. The purpose of this study is applied and the research method is descriptive- survey. The questionnaire method was used to collect data. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of the first questionnaire was obtained 0.76 and the second questionnaire was 0.83 which confirm the validity of the questionnaires. The content validity to test questions was used and for this purpose, experts, academics and experts were used. The population of this research is all the Alborz Province Bank Employees which 80 individuals were selected as sample size and sampling is done randomly. To analyze data the Spearman correlation coefficient and multiple regression was used. Finally all the theories proved. Self-motivation and self-awareness variables were determined as predictor variables which can entry into the ultimate regression equation to describe the tendency of employees to accept changes in their electronic education.},

title = {Improvement of mean shift tracker for tracking of target with variable photometric pattern}, 
abstract ={The mean shift algorithm is one of the popular methods in visual tracking for non-rigid moving targets. Basically, it is able to locate repeatedly the central mode of a desirable target. Object representation in mean shift algorithm is based on its feature histogram within a non-oriented individual kernel mask. Truly, adjusting of the kernel scale is the most critical challenge in this method. Up to now, no methods are presented that can perfectly as well as efficiently adjust and adapt the kernel scale during track when a target is resized. Another problem of mean shift tracking algorithm will be encountered whenever photometric properties of target texture changes. In order to solve these problems, this paper presents a modified mean shift tracking algorithm that is used a robust adaptive sizing technique. It can also cope with photometric changes of target template by adapting of its model in every frame of image sequence. In our proposed method, at first, the target window is adaptively resized with respect to spatio-temporal gradient powers of its pixel intensities in current frame and then mean shift algorithm is consequently applied to the resulted sizing window. Compared to standard mean shift algorithm, experimental results show that our proposed method, not only reduces center location errors of target, but also efficiently track it in the presence of changing illumination.},

title = {Determination of Optimum SVMs Based on Genetic Algorithm in Classification of Hyper spectral Imagery}, 
abstract ={Hyper spectral remote sensing imagery, due to its rich source of spectral information provides an efficient tool for ground classifications in complex geographical areas with similar classes. Referring to robustness of Support Vector Machines (SVMs) in high dimensional space, they are efficient tool for classification of hyper spectral imagery. However, there are two optimization issues which strongly effect on the SVMs performance: Optimum SVMs parameters determination and optimum feature subset selection. Traditional optimization algorithms are appropriate in limited search space but they usually trap in local optimum in high dimensional space, therefore it is inevitable to apply meta-heuristic optimization algorithms such as Genetic Algorithm to obtain global optimum solution. This paper evaluates the potential of different proposed optimization scenarios in determining of SVMs parameters and feature subset selection based on Genetic Algorithm (GA). Obtained results on AVIRIS Hyper spectral imagery demonstrate superior performance of SVMs achieved by simultaneously optimization of SVMs parameters and input feature subset. In Gaussian and Polynomial kernels, the classification accuracy improves by about 5% and15% respectively and more than 90 redundant bands are eliminated. For comparison, the evaluation is also performed by applying it to Simulated Annealing (SA) that shows a better performance of Genetic Algorithm especially in complex search space where parameter determination and feature selection are solve simultaneously.},

title = {Medial-axis Enhancement of Tubular Structures and its Application in the Extraction of Portal Veins}, 
abstract ={I In this paper, a new filter is designed to enhance medial-axis of tubular structures. Based on a multi-scale method and using eigenvectors of Hessian matrix, the distance of a point to the edges of the tube is found. To do this, a hypothetical line with a deliberate direction is passed through the point which cuts the tube at its edges. For points which are located on the medial-axis, this distance is symmetric with respect to any deliberate direction. We find samples of the distances in different directions and assign a measure to the points based on this symmetry property. The output of this step is an enhanced image in which noise is removed and tubes can be seen more clearly. Then, we employ the filter developed by Pock et al. to enhance medial axis. Evaluation of the proposed method is performed using 2D/3D synthetic/clinical datasets both quantitatively and qualitatively.},

title = {Image Processing of steel sheets for Defect Detection by using Gabor Wavelet}, 
abstract ={In different steps of steel production, various defects appear on the surface of the sheet. Putting aside the causes of defects, precise identification of their kinds helps classify steel sheet correctly, thereby it allocates a high percentage of quality control process. QC of steel sheet for promotion of product quality and maintaining the competitive market is of great importance. In this paper, in addition to quick review of image process techniques used, using image process by means of Gabor wavelet, a fast and precise solution for detection of texture defects in steel sheet is presented. In first step, the approach extracts considerable texture specification from image by using Gabor wavelet. The specification includes both different directions and different frequencies. Then using statistical methods, images are selected that have more obvious defects, and location of defects is determined. Offering the experimental samples, the accuracy and speed of the method is indicated.},
